That time when I was in SHS, we couldn’t afford sending me in a review center for the college entrance exam, so he bought me a reviewer book instead. I felt so blessed at that time because it was during the pandemic, and he was still trying to look for a stable job, yet he believed in me and bought that ₱500 book. That was already a one-day wage. Imagine that. So selfless. +++
He was studying for his board exams at Mommy’s wake, sitting in the middle of the aisle between the chairs. I can’t imagine myself having that kind of strength. (grieving while facing reality) That was the moment I admired him even more. I am, and will always be, so proud of my Kuya. 🫡❤️
